STOI Launches Third Release with Legendary Hip-Hop Artist DMC

The Song That Owns Itself (STOI) launched it's third release in collaboration with Run DMC's Darry McDaniels. The release features a new song from Darryl, "Million Scars," and, through the STOI protocol, enables fans to own a piece of the song and therefore share in its future success.

Speaking about the project, McDaniels explained, "Releasing a STOI today is the first step in launching my DMC (Decentralized Media Company) with the larger goal of creating the next iteration of the music industry that values creators, fans and supports them all in the most transparent and fair way possible."
